Tribal Woman

Matses hunter with his three tribal women wives. Matses indigenous people are polygamous, which is quite common among Amazon native tribes. This native hunter has three wives and many children. Note the bow, arrow and spear he is holding. The geometric designs painted on his headband represent his clan. Note the palm leaf belts on his stomach and chest that are characteristic of the Matsés tribe.
